Description

This vibrant eatery offers a blend of ambiance and culinary creativity, yet opinions on the food and service vary widely. While many diners praise the delicious dishes and delightful atmosphere, others have faced frustrating service and food mishaps. Dishes such as the Ossobuco and Chilean Sea Bass earn high marks, though quality can be inconsistent, as some meals, like the cold shrimp and overly spicy ropa vieja, disappoint. Service also fluctuates, with some guests enjoying attentive waitstaff while others recount rude encounters. Overall, the restaurant shows promise but could benefit from improved consistency and customer care.

As we first walk in everything seemed fine until we got a rude waitress. As our food gets to the table, I ordered salmon that was raw.. My friend asked for a different side instead of beans and she would not allow it. She gave us a terrible attitudewhen we wanted to split our check as a group and wouldn’t let us so we paid cash. Worst experience honestly the food was notworth the prices at all. Go to a different spot.

Decided to try this location on a Sunday afternoon. Upon entering I was promptly seated, the store front appearance is vibrant and beautifully decorated. We ordered the Tostones Rellenos, which were delicious. We ordered 2 special items off menu. We gotthe Ossobuco and the Chilean Sea bass. The Ossobuco is a must if it is available, it is a hefty portion as well. The ChileanSea Bass was perfectly cooked and the Yuca mash was delectable. My only complaint was the Chilean Sea bass came served withShrimp, but the shrimp was not up to par with the rest of the meal. The shrimp had a tough texture so there for I found itinedible. At a high price of 65 for the Chilean sea bass meal I was dissatisfied. Other than that, the service here was great, the host and waiters were friendly, it’s a nice clean and vibrant atmosphere.

The hand-rolled empanadas were just average, and the Moros rice had no flavor at all. The famous Cubano was mediocre; I don't understand what makes it so famous. However, the maduros were great—it's hard to go wrong with those!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic and expertly cooked. It has quickly become one of my top dining spots.

Churrasco Cubano was truly delightful! Everything in this order was amazing, and it’s probably the best Cuban food I’ve ever had. The Lechoncito and Masitas de Puerco were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.
