Terraza 7 - Queens

Jam sessions on Sunday evenings are the most fun I've had in a very long time. Awesome to see the returning cast, and even more awesome to see rotating or traveling musicians come in and play a few.

Small and awkwardly designed space, but they make function. They have outdoor seating area. However, we were there to see a group perform. They have limited seating so we were stuck in the main floor looking at a screen while hearing them live above us. We had beer and tapas. Cider chorizo and a cheese platter which for both I was pleasantly surprised they were delicious. The group tool pity on us and performed downstairs, this was my best part of the night! Will return, for beers and entertainment.

With film screenings, workshops, and an array of events, Terraza 7 is where you might walk in for a drink and come out with a fresh perspective on life. And let’s not overlook the happy hour—it's akin to a refreshing musical break during your workday. Come for the melodies, savor the tapas, and leave with a new story to tell. I'm not sure if they have a house band, but if you've never been to Terraza 7, you need to come back repeatedly to enjoy their intimate performances, savor a selection of exquisite tapas, and reflect on the life choices that led you to this sacred spot in Jackson Heights. My only disappointment is the lack of dessert options, but the staff is incredibly sweet and friendly, which helps make up for it. The only thing this place really misses are the hammocks that I loved when they first opened.

This restaurant is an amazing spot! The karaoke sessions offer a fantastic experience for anyone wanting to sing their favorite songs and unwind after a long work week. If you enjoy live music, the Terrazza 7 is the perfect place for you, and the staff is outstanding. It's honestly one of the best places I've ever visited in New York. Thank you!
