I had a delightful experience with Halal Chinese cuisine in Queens, New York. This restaurant is among the top choices for Asian fusion Chinese food in the city. If you're interested in finding more similar places, be sure to check out @eatwithrazzam on Instagram.

The interior is surprisingly pleasant for an Indian-Chinese restaurant. I dined there and ordered the sizzling chicken and sizzling lamb. The lamb was outstanding, exactly what you'd expect from this type of cuisine. Overall, the food was quite good, and I didn't have any major complaints—aside from the lengthy wait to place our order. However, I do believe the fried rice is overpriced for what you get.

My family and I used to visit Sagar frequently when I was younger, but as more Indian fusion restaurants opened up, our trips became less frequent. Recently, I decided to revisit this familiar spot that used to be our go-to for dining out. We ordered some classic dishes, including chicken lollipops, Sagar fried rice, paneer masala, sizzling beef, chili beef, manchurian chicken, and mango lassi. The restaurant was clean and the food was delightful. Among my favorites were the chicken lollipops and mango lassi, which tasted just as delicious as I remembered from years ago. I loved the spiciness of the chili beef, while the paneer masala was new to me but a bit dry; the sauce from the sizzling beef helped to balance it. The manchurian chicken reminded me of fried chicken balls with a spicy and tangy kick, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. While prices have gone up, which is typical for most places, there is a 15% gratuity added for parties of four or more. I will definitely be returning from time to time for that nostalgic trip down memory lane.

We hosted a graduation party in the downstairs party room at Sagar Chinese, and it truly surpassed our expectations. The food was fresh, delicious, and served promptly, even with a reservation for 70 guests. The staff were incredibly helpful with both the setup and cleanup. The space comfortably accommodated everyone, leaving plenty of room for a dance and music area. The manager, Fahad, went above and beyond to meet all our needs. He is responsible, respectful, and genuinely caring. Whether you’re planning a party or just a meal, I highly recommend Sagar Chinese.

I had an amazing dining experience at Sagar Chinese with delicious, fresh, and perfectly seasoned food. Despite our large group of over 70 people, the staff served us promptly without any delays. The spacious downstairs party room is ideal for celebrations such as birthdays, graduations, and other events, and it’s equipped with a speaker system and microphone for music.
