I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I ordered a BLT and sweet potato fries and was impressed by the delicious taste, freshness, generous portion, and friendly service. Although I am not familiar with the owners, I know a good BLT when I taste one. The sandwich had the perfect balance of ingredients, with just the right amount of lettuce and plenty of bacon. I typically order from Petey's in Astoria, but this was my first time at this location. Just like the other Petey's, the staff here is very friendly. The onion rings are some of the best in Astoria and Long Island City - they are crispy and come in a generous portion. The burgers are usually good, but mine was cold, so I'm not sure if it was made to order. It's great that they offer more than one veggie burger option.
The burger and fries were fantastic and really satisfied my cravings. The burger reminded me of Five Guys, which I also really enjoy. The wings were decent, not the best I've had but still good. I would definitely order them again.
The wings and blue cheese dressing were unpleasant-tasting, but the cheeseburger was delicious and the fries were hot and fresh.
