The pastries of Panera Bread are decent and we visit there every one to two weeks when we don’t have any idea what to eat for breakfast. We have subscribed to their unlimited coffee plan for months and this was our first time seeing that all the coffee wasn’t served in hot fresh. Hence, we were disappointed with their service at this location. The indoor dining is currently available and their safety procedures for COVID-19 is pretty good. The staff checked temperature for every customer and kept social distance between tables.
Came in for a quick lunch. I got a Bristol Onion Soup. The portion is good. But the soup is too salty for me.
There were far too many people there on a rainy Saturday, and it seemed like no one knew how to settle down at their tables. The reason I'm giving it a 3-star rating is that the atmosphere was really disappointing.
On September 13, 2022, I noticed that the woman at the register appeared to be quite ill; she was coughing and had a pink nose. Before assisting the next customer, she attempted to wash her hands, but as she did, she continued to cough without covering her mouth. This raised concerns about the bacteria potentially transferring to the bread located in the front area near the sink.
I'm not sure what went wrong during my visit. I ordered a sandwich from Panera Bread, but my order was incomplete; my soup was missing, and the avocado in my sandwich was hard and unripe. Fortunately, I was able to retrieve my soup, but I can't understand why anyone would think it's acceptable to serve avocado that you can't even bite into. This is simply unacceptable!
