Mr. Dak, the recently under new ownership, has garnered a mixed response from diners. While the renowned fried chicken remains flavorful and succulent, changes have led to smaller portions and a decline in service quality. Positive comments highlight the delightful Tteokbokki and handmade potato chips, praised for their crunch and taste. Many enjoyed generous and reasonably priced meals, with the fried chicken and accompanying sides providing both satisfaction and excellent value. Despite some shortcomings, such as inconsistent side dish quality, the restaurant holds potential for a return to its former glory. Overall, Mr. Dak remains a promising spot for Korean cuisine enthusiasts.

Was chen meng at Mr. Dak a mag?
This restaurant in Queens features K-pop music videos and Korean television playing on the side, along with a nice selection of beers. I absolutely adore their juicy chicken! The flavors in everything are amazing. Don't forget to try the Korean Ramen and spicy rice cake - adding cheese to the rice cake is a must! I highly recommend trying the Special Combo, which includes Spicy Rice Cake, Rice Cake Skewer, Corn Chees... View all feedback.
What Daddi nari dislikes about Mr. Dak:
The restaurant was taken over by a new owner a few months ago. The service is not as friendly or accommodating as it used to be. The portions have become smaller and some side dishes that used to come with the meal are no longer included. On the positive side, the chicken still tastes the same. However, the corn side dish consistently tastes sour, as if it has gone bad. View all feedback.

The tri-color chicken was delicious and the portion was generous, but I was disappointed when it seemed to decrease to the point where I could notice.
We learned about Mr. Dak from our foodie friend who recommended their Tteok-Bokki but we didn’t get to try it this time. Their ambiance was cozy and perfect for late night diners. We had their Fried Onions and Corn Cheese as appetizers. The portion was great with reasonable price and they were both extremely satisfying and delicious. We got Wings and Drumsticks Combo with Tiger Crisp Scallion. It’s too much for a group of two so we recommend to have either wings or drumsticks to share. Both were delicious, juicy and perfect to go with both appetizing sauce.
