Was Michael Cheng at Hi Tea Bakery a mag?
This Cha Cha Tang in Bayside is quite impressive! They offer all the classic dishes, from Hong Kong-style tea to rice noodles and chow mein, as well as a variety of breakfast options that are easy to choose from, labeled A through D. We arrived at 7:00 a.m., just before they opened, and the place was already buzzing with a large crowd of customers coming in. It's definitely a popular spot! View all feedback.
What Vicky V dislikes about Hi Tea Bakery:
I'm really disappointed to write this review because this was one of my go-to places when I had a craving for Hong Kong tea shop-style food. Today, we ordered mixed sauce steamed rice rolls and wonton noodle soup. The food was just as good as I expected, but towards the end, my son noticed some bugs in his soup! I initially thought it was just pepper, but he insisted it couldn't be and pointed out the legs and antenn... View all feedback.

The dried beef noodles are absolutely spectacular! The Singapore Mai Fun is also outstanding. This is one of my local favorites—a hidden gem for anyone who loves Hong Kong-style takeout.

Sadly, I found the same troubling discovery in my own bowl. It's such a shame because I used to really enjoy this restaurant.
[Project Hong Kong Milk Tea 002 Hi Tea Hong Kong Cafe]{Seeking the best Hong Kong Milk Tea in NYC}Grade: 72 of 100Worth Trying 4.5 out of 5Imagine small pebbles and a gentle flowing brook, I stepped into a favourite Hong Kong Diner Cafe that I love in Oakland Garden.I love this cafe mainly it provided me a taste back in my Hometown, Hong Kong. The boss and the servers are friendly to mingle with true and honestly. About the milk tea, I have to remind you that you may add 25 cents with an all time breakfast (accept the congee combo purchase if you try it for the first time. A solo order in medium, Large, and make it iced are also available. The tea has a perfect taste and the texture are more smooth (even smaller pebbles . You may say this is a lighter version of the Milk Tea from Hao Pi (check my previous review from Hao Pi Dimsum Express . I will give a grade of 72 out of 100 for this one with 4.5 of worth trying because of the price. For decent Hong Kong Milk Tea taster, you may not be satisfied with the taste, but the ambient will compensate you with memory from Hong Kong. This indeed made me a regular customer of this cafe. Try their stir fried spaghetti or baked fish over rice as well if you are here for lunch. Sincerely sharedCalvin
I don't usually like the shrimp wontons at any shops because of the way the shrimp smells in the wonton. But THIS place has amazing shrimp wontons. The soup does not taste like other places either. It is my go to when I stop by to pick up a quick dinner. I also love the baked casseroles there. I ordered pork chops with fried rice with black pepper sauce. It's so good. Can't go wrong.
