Happy Kitchen - Queens
Happy Kitchen
Description
In the competitive landscape of local Chinese cuisine, this restaurant delivers a stark contrast in opinions. While some patrons rave about generous portions, friendly service, and consistently high-quality dishes, others lament soggy fries and burnt chicken. Complaints include bland flavors, unhelpful staff interactions, and poor packaging that leads to messy deliveries. Despite these drawbacks, loyal customers appreciate the prompt service and reasonable prices, claiming it to be the best in the area. With such polarized feedback, it's clear that while some relish the offerings, others find themselves disappointed. Choose wisely.

The Chicken Wings were tender, crispy, and packed with flavor. The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (item 121) was absolutely delightful! The Bar-B-Q Spare Ribs (item 18) were spot on—juicy and flavorful, unlike many other Chinese ribs that tend to be dry. The Beef Fried Rice was also impressive, with the beef being tasty and meaty without any rubbery texture. Unfortunately, the Sesame Cold Noodles (item 9) were disappointing; they lacked flavor and seasoning, with very little of the nutty sesame taste I expected. I think I’ll skip the noodles next time. Overall, Happy Kitchen has become my go-to spot for Chinese takeout!
The eggplant was fantastic, as were the chicken wings. The shrimp in lobster sauce was delicious, though I would have appreciated a little more sauce. I expected an egg roll to be included with the dinner special. Overall, I will definitely order again!
My favorite Chinese restaurant! The food is delicious and the prices are great!
I have to make this place a favorite, my family loves how tender the 17. Boneless Spare Ribs are
