I recently tried the Beef Chow Fun with Black Bean Sauce and Pork Potstickers at this restaurant. The Chow Fun was a good size with large slices of beef and not too greasy. However, the potstickers were disappointing; they seemed to be filled with water and lacked flavor. They appeared to have been boiled before being cooked on a flat top, which is not the traditional way to make potstickers (typically they are steam sautéed). Overall, the restaurant was clean and the service was average, but in my opinion, it did not live up to the positive reviews it has received.
We went there twice over 2 days and never had a bad meal. The service was great. They get you in and out and that worked out because we were in a conference. You have to try the lychee soda. There was also a noodle dish with a black bean sauce to thatwas amazing. Don't forget the crab and pork steamed dumplings.
I was originally going to order through DoorDash, but needed to ask the restaurant a question about a meal. He recommended me picking it up cause I'll end up paying $20 more through DoorDash, so I picked up. That was very nice of him to look out for me. Other than that, the food was ridiculously good! I had spicy Szechuan chicken and it was outrageous. This isn't a typical local Chinese food place. It's a blend of all Asian food and is top notch. Highly recommend
My meal consisting of Beef Chow Fun with Black Bean Sauce and Pork Potstickers was ok, nothing to write home about. Chow Fun was good sized portion with huge slices of beef and not super oily however those potstickers, well let’s just say it’s full ofwater inside and bland. If I didn’t know any better I would think it was first boiled then put it on a flat top just to giveit some color. Traditional potstickers generally are steam sautéed. I could be wrong but that’s the impression I had. Therestaurant was clean and service was decent but IMO didn’t live up to the hype of some other reviews.
I've tried this restaurant several times, and I have to say, it really doesn't meet expectations. The portion sizes are small for the price, and nearly everything lacks flavor. On my last visit, I was served cold wontons, with the shrimp still raw inside. I wouldn't recommend it.
