This is a small, tidy hotel with friendly staff and complimentary breakfast included in the price. It is conveniently located near Manhattan, but there are also plenty of attractions to see in Queens. The hotel is close to at least three subway stations, and heading north will lead you to a district with numerous excellent restaurants. New York has much to offer beyond Manhattan. What cityzen doesn't like about City View Plaza:
First room I was given had a toilet flush that didn't work but the second room I got was OK. A/C didn't work well but I could open a window a bit and it did cool the room if given enough time. Breakfast wasn't good (eg. the only kind of bagel available was cinnamon and raisin) but it was free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location if you need a place to stay with relatively easy access to both LGA and JFK. L... View all feedback.
This hotel is a fantastic value. The room is clean and spacious, and the complimentary continental breakfast offers a wide variety of options including croissants, pastries, cereals, fruits, yogurt, and hot dishes like sausage, patties, and scrambled eggs. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the toiletries could be better. The bed is a bit firm, which is common in Asian countries. The hotel is conveniently located near the N, W, and 7 subway stations, with the F, E, and R stations within walking distance as well. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.
The restaurant review in English: Our room was extremely cozy and impeccably clean. The breakfast spread was excellent, featuring bread, pastries, eggs, cereals, meat, and coffee/tea. The location is very convenient, just a 4-minute walk to the metro station and 15-20 minutes to Times Square/Broadway. The restaurant has received a rating of 4.6 out of 5 in 52 recent reviews on the booking site, and it is well-deserved.
This store is a great place to get Greek products like feta cheese, olives, olive oil, Greek chocolate, Greek pasta, bread, and various other imported goods.

The entrance may be hard to locate, but there are plenty of businesses in the area!
