She came from outside behind me. Anyhoo I came in for the flying saucers with the crunchies. They were out ofthe butter? crunchies and strawberry ice cream. Really?! The prep and presentation was horrible. Also it didn't have that Carvelstore smell. More like a dirty mop funky smell. The store is dingy and dank like a 1980s storefront weed spot. Ruined thenostalgia for me. I love supporting my community's businesses. Not this one. Yuck. Ate one fs, threw the other two away. Icecream tasted like metal.

It?s a shame to see that members of my community do not have high enough standards to recognize that thisCarvel owes us quality service and products. We have kept them in business for decades in our community. If this place was ina better represented neighborhood, they would have been condemned by health officials and boycotted by the community. We needto hold ourselves to a much better standard. This Carvel needs to be purged from our community. This place is disgusting.

However, the lemon sorbet was really enj... read more I was a bit let down that they didn't have the grapefruit sorbet I was hoping for, nor any other flavors besides lemon. However, the lemon sorbet was really enjoyable, and the staff member I spoke with to make some changes was very courteous. In the end, I decided to go with the substitute, and I have to admit, the lemon sorbet turned out to be quite delicious!
