Was Jim T at Blarney Castle a mag?
Have been going here over 40 years. Never had a bad meal,Never!! While the place itself could use an update I can honestly say that wherever you're from the staff will make you feel right at home. Highly recommend View all feedback.
What Drew C dislikes about Blarney Castle:
The owners of this establishment are very racist. I used to work there washing dishes. One night Doug Owens robbed the place after closing. Everyone knows Doug Owens did it but dougs dad is such good friends with Bobby one of the owners that even tho they have video of him doing it. They used this opportunity to spread lies and hate for me Bobby went as far as to have detectives show up one night to threaten me. The... View all feedback.
When I think of home, the Blarney instantly comes to mind. There’s nothing quite like driving up to the Blarney, enjoying a few drinks with friends, and then heading back home. The chicken parmesan there is hands down the best I've ever tasted—kudos to the chef! For me, having the chicken parm along with a few mint chip shots can transform my day from the usual gloom to one filled with joy. Walking in and seeing Uncle Tommy's familiar, warm smile allows me to leave my worries at the door, at least until it’s time to go. I cherish the countless days and nights I've spent enjoying Coors Lights at the Blarney. I also love that other bartender whose name escapes me, but he definitely sports an impressive mustache!
Locals in Breezy Point recommended Blarney Castle to us, so my party and I decided to give it a try. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated right away with no wait time. The drink service was reasonable, but the atmosphere felt reminiscent of the 1980s. Unfortunately, we noticed that some of the servers made racist comments to each other as they passed by, which was very upsetting. We ended up leaving with half of our food still on the plates because of the uncomfortable environment. Many of the comments made were completely unwarranted, and there was no reason for such behavior.
