What User likes about La Barberie:
My wife, daughter (18 years old) and I were quite apprehensive walking towards "La Barberie." It is located in a very unattractive (but safe) part of the town, just under the flyover near to the train station. However, once you get inside the building and grounds you realise that it is a little oasis. Very pleasant and large side patio (not talking about the one at the front of the building), with plenty of greenery.... View all feedback. What User doesn't like about La Barberie:
I have to rate this place poorly solely based on their poor customer service. I have never been to a bar where the bartender cashes you out after one drink, without even asking if you'd like another. A bartender cashing me out after my first drink is basically telling me they don't want me to give them any more money. So I didn't. In my opinion, just go Noctem or Korrigane instead. This brewery was really great, casual, and off the beaten path.
I am in Quebec for a business trip and based on other reviews decided to come hereGreat choice of beer on tap; the IPA I had was great.
I always thought that the barbery was in a park (we see so much green on the pictures). So I was very surprised to see that it was below a highway viaduct! I en...

read moreLa Barberie offers a unique, friendly experience with a variety of beers to try. Despite some mixed reviews on customer service, the overall atmosphere is positive, with a cozy vibe, board games, and a lovely terrace. The food from the outdoor kitchen may not have been sampled by all, but the relaxing ambiance and range of beers still make for an enjoyable outing. It may not be a must-visit spot, but it's definitely worth a visit, especially for beer enthusiasts looking for a different experience in Quebec City.
