Great experience. Ate here solo, just a lil bit line up to get in especially if you’re not a guest of Fairmont Hotel. Highly recommend to go here early. Food selection was decent and they gave me a window seat which is really nice. The table attendant was nice but I just don’t like that he gave me the bill after my second round to the buffet when I’m not done eating even if he told me no rush (def I will be rush). What Saasha Stanley doesn't like about Place Dufferin:
Absolutely terrible. The food was something you would get at a 2 star diner. Greasy and terrible quality. They pump so many people through that even when you order a la carte terribly disappointing. Waiter was rude and didn’t want to be bothered. Would go to Starbucks for breakfast and be much happier. Save your View all feedback.

Recommended. Very good food. Excellent buffet. Plenty of variety. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. Very expensive.
We had an amazing afternoon tea here. Price was reasonable and tea with food was also a good amount. We loved everything except the duck sandwich. Definitely worth trying.
Had breakfast everyday here. Great buffet selection. Pricey but worth it. Also get the eggs Benedict cooked to order.
Knowing that I was going to be stopping in Quebec City on my cruise, I booked a spot at Place Dufferin’s weekend high tea event in advance directly on their website. Very easy. In short, it was wonderful! I was seated by a bright and cheery window overlooking the river. They served amazing scones, sandwiches and desserts as well as delicious spiced tea. There is a nice selection of teas to choose from at the start. I have been to other high teas before and this was one of the very best. The Servers are kind and prompt. It was about $75 USD including the 20 percent tip. The music was lovely as is the Château! Don’t forget to look around inside the hotel. This tea is worth the 60 to 90 minutes of your time in port.Kid-friendliness: I noticed several families with well behaved children. It was not a free for all.
