What 3john l (2 2 years ago on Google doesn't like about Chez Temporel:
Tldr: meh Well... Hate to give it two star but I have to. Dish was really mediocre, especially after waiting for 40 minutes plus the waiter messed up our order several times and we didn't get the half-chicken that we ordered. Beef was really overcooked, not tender at all. Octupos was alright. Considered the price I really don't think it was worth it any how. Probably not a fair review since the place is really under-... We wanted to eat away from the crowds. We sat outside and had an amazing lunch! I had duck confit with poached eggs, perfectly done. My husband had a ham baguette. He loved it. Also loved the white sangria!! View all feedback.

read moreUpon visiting Chez Temporel in Quebec City, diners had a mixed experience. Some found the dishes to be mediocre with overcooked beef and overly salty octopus, while others enjoyed delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented food with excellent service. The ambiance was described as quaint and rustic, with some patrons feeling put off by a cold and rude waitress. Despite mixed reviews, the restaurant seemed to offer a good mix of locals and tourists, with many diners expressing a desire to return and give it another try. The varied menu, friendly staff, and unique atmosphere seemed to leave a lasting impression on many visitors.

Great food delivered artistically. We had the beef shoulder which only wounded the steer. Bartender was good with delivering beer but beyond that she was lost.
