We had the 12 cou... read more We are a group of friends living in Naples, wanting to experience a good meal at a Michelin stared restaurant. We were not impressed with Sud. We had the 12 couse meal with wine pairings. The wines were good, but all the pasta dishes were too al dente, We did like, though, the sandwich wirh Spanish prosciutto and anchovies and the pistacchio and lime dessert. There are restaurants in Naples without Michelin stars who serve better dishes than Sud, and a lot more inexpensive.

The courses were good but nothing that really amazed us. The pasta dish with lemon, mussels, and sea urchin was the best dish we had and it was delicious. Tuna tartare and the octopus were both good. The dessert was a lemon cream with cookie crumbs. It would have been better if the cream was colder and there were more cookie in the dish. The wine pairing was perfect.
