I reviewed The Salted Slate when it first opened last year (July 31st, 2014) and although I generally enjoyed my experience, I said I would give them about a month to iron out the kinks before I went back. A year later and although generally speaking they're pretty darn good, it's a risky game of farm to table roulette. One day you can have an amazing meal, the next time (when your parents invite their high standard friends for dinner) pieces are missing, food is cold, portions are unimpressive. I still root for The Salted Slate with all my heart...and STILL hope they can find the consistency they need to keep me coming back. goodeatsmundial.com

Steak was extremely tough and not very flavorful. The appetizer portions were extremely small (the burrata was just a slice of burrata rather than the whole ball? very bizarre) Waitress was lovely and the ambiance was nice, but based on the food i just had, i can tell why it was nearly dead at 7:30pm on a Saturday night.
One of the best veggie burgers I've ever had. Everyone we went with enjoyed their meal. Seems like every detail and decision on the food is well considered and thought out.My wife and I are vegan thank you for having the veggie burger option! It was delicious,
