First of all, if you're a first time... read more On a visit back home in New England, I had a chance dine at Camille's for dinner in the Federal Hill section of Providence. First of all, if you're a first time visitor bring cash to tip the valet. There is no self parking. Thankfully I'm old schooland always carry some cash. The attire is conservative, so dress appropriately. I ordered the veal and my friend the gnocchi. Both were OK, not out of this world. The service was polite and attentive. It's a bit overpriced but that's to be expectedin this part of Providence. They have a patio which I didn't get to experience but that looked more appealing. If you go makea reservation and ask for the patio.

The food was just perfect. If you go here get the calamari with banana pepper app. It's so good. My maincourse was a special, veal Camille. Big veal parm chop with vodka sauce. H o l y c r a p, that was good and the portion wasgiant. This is a must stop place if you want good Italian in Providence.

Ingredients were fresh and good portions. Wine list is good. Had zucchini flowers stuffed withmozzarella cheese fried, warm cherry tomato burrata salad with balsamic, conch salad, Lasagna, pistachio crusted lamb chopsmedium rare and grilled halibut with lobster risotto. All in all food was good, lasagna was delicious but needed the cheese inthe middle to melt more, risotto needed little more cream but archived the freshness of the vegies to come out so is more of apersonal taste. Lamb chops are great and a must and the conch salad was good just not to everyone’s taste buds. But overallwas a good experience and will come back..!!!!
