The lady watching over the waitress writing... read more Sat down for a good, 20 minutes before any waitress came up to my table. Then was greeted by 2 very rude waitresses. The lady watching over the waitress writing down my order kept saying “we don’t have that” regarding 2 items that me and my friend wanted. While the waitress was writing those items down and saying “okay” . Took forever for bread, and 1 hour for a chicken dish and garden salad. Then got charged for mozzarella cheese that was never on my chicken and it took them 10 minutes to remove it off the bill. I should’ve just paid for their mistake and got out of there asap! Used to come here at least once a month. But after the waitress, assistant, and manager were very rude and blunt I will not be coming here anymore. Save a dinner night and go to Capital Grille down the road !

I had a reservation booked that I had made a month prior, which had already been moved from my original 7pm booking to 5:30pm because the restaurant was too full. I called a few weeks after making the reservation to kindly ask to placed near a window, confirming my reservation in doing so. I called the day of to see if adding a seat to my table was possible, when I was audaciously told that I had cancelled my reservation, which I obviously had not. After some back and forth, I was rudely placed on hold out of nowhere. When I called again, Carrie or Kathy I don't recall, rudely told me she couldn't do anything for a cancelled reservation despite the fact that it was not us who cancelled it in the first place. I'm extremely frustrated because I was really looking forward to eating here again, though after this experience I doubt I ever will. Now, I'm left without dinner possibilities because no one can accommodate a big party for tonight. Extremely disappointed in this place. Responding to your explanation... Thank you but this misunderstanding and your mistake caused an unpleasant situation at our family weekend. You didn't even apologize and much less look for a solution. Leaving us at the last minute without a place to eat dinner. Unacceptable.

The smelts and sardines (two different dishes) were wonderfully prepared, as were the pork belly, sausage with different condiments, and on and on. They were kind enough to cancel my dinner entree when I realized the Italian tapas were more than enough for the two of us. The waiter was outstanding, the drink list diverse. My only unhappiness is that, like many places, the hostesses are unfriendly and cavalier. The place doesn't open until exactly 5 pm (the door is locked) and when they unlock the door they neither inform people waiting outside nor welcome them. A request to change our seat, which was directly hit by a bright sun without any effective window shade, was met with exasperation. But the food more than makes up for this, and we'll be back.
