The history of the Jakaranda City comes to life by means of the decor of 1855. The menu has a lot of all time South African favourites and some other classics as well.I had the eggs benedict and I loved it! I would definitely recommend this place to all who love fine food and our beautiful city that is Pretoria. View all feedback.
Very good breakfast! Great value for money!!! Had the eggs Benedict with Salmon was a great taste but would have liked a slightly larger portion. Had the Pretoria breakfast the next time and wow what value for money! Large portion and very nice flavour!
Great breakfast, very affordable and service excellent. Love this place! Open at 7am everyday. Staff always friendly! My office most mornings. Give it a try. Well worth it
Cosy and convenient, 1855 is lovely for families. I've had tons of breakfast at this restaurant. I love it especially because they have so many specials. The French toast is one my favourites.
1855 is a quaint and very cute restaurant. The food is simple and delicious. However, being a new restaurant they are still sorting out a view issues. The service is not yet up to scratch and the food can take quite a while- especially if you are there for their breakfast special.
I must say they sell the best and tastiest simple food ever. The minute we got the food we became silent because it tasted soo good and at such reasonable prices I must add . The service was great and we left with unbelievably happy tummies
