The restaurant has a spacious parking lot and a pleasant interior with very friendly staff. The coffee is great, and the food is both delicious and plentiful. While the cakes are on the pricier side, the portions are generous and absolutely delightful. They are so tempting that I find myself wanting to try every single one, which is a bit dangerous for my waistline!
I'm not really one to leave reviews, but after our first visit I want everyone to know how lovely the smithy is! we came down yesterday for an afternoon tea, and we could not be happier. the food was plentiful and tasted amazing, the cake selection was wonderful and the staff couldn't have been better. we'll definitely be booking again! also, the decor inside is so lovely, I can't rate the smithy highly enough.
