Description

Nestled in a picturesque location with stunning views, this café offers a mix of charming outdoor and limited indoor seating. While patrons praise the friendly staff and variety of unique ice cream flavors, opinions vary on the food and coffee quality. Many found portions small and some dishes overcooked, like microwaved sausage. High-priced coffee received criticism for lacking flavor, though the ice cream often steals the show. With reasonable dining prices and convenient takeaway options, this café is worth a visit for those seeking a scenic spot to enjoy a treat, despite mixed feelings on the culinary offerings.

This is a lovely little café located in the industrial area of Blantyre. The outdoor seating by the window is delightful, and the prices are very reasonable. This was our second visit, and we enjoyed everything we ordered.

This place offers the best ice cream and a stunning view of the ocean. It's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy some delicious, authentic ice cream.

I enjoyed a beautiful hot chocolate while sitting indoors, which was perfect for the rainy day we visited. As of March 2020, there haven’t been any changes—the hot chocolate is still fantastic!

Honkin coffee that's even more expensive than your costa's, nero's and Starbucks'! I paid £3.30 for what was basically a small cup of boiling milk. When it cooled enough to drink I couldn't taste any coffee at all. If you're going to charge those prices train your staff on the machine how to make a real coffee and consider upping the size of a shot so people can actually taste it. The old gent ahead of me also complained about his espresso being weak how is that possible !? shots are way too small. Have to say ice cream was tasty.

The location is hard to beat, what a view. I ordered a roll and slice sausage and a latte. The sausage had obviously either been fully cooked by microwave or maybe just heated up but whatever it had been in too too long and the edges were cremated. Coffee was okay but not what I expect from such an established cafe. Would go back just for the view and a coffee but not for food. Get rid of the micro and try cooking the ingredients traditionally.
