very professional staff who were discreet but always on hand. Food choice was excellent and of high quality with a good selection of wines including local. Ate here for Christmas Eve. Courses rather rushed and non-descript. Venison starter included something like a course pork pate, main course beef wellington was grey rather than pink, dessert custard was nice but actual dessert was hard and not pleasant. Staff are really friendly, wine list is good, pianist was good (albeit playing at breakneck speed), restaurant layout not too bad for large hotel. View all feedback.
