this place is for me and my colleagues (which are not vegetarian) a regular choice, as it offers a daily menu of three things that vary a lot, so we never get bored. make a reservation if they want to eat on a weekday. Every day we see that they have to turn off customers as all are taken tables. View all feedback.
This vegan restaurant in Prague was a wonderful find, even though I'm sure even non-vegans would enjoy it too. Located a bit away from the main tourist area, it was nice to sit among locals. The food was delicious, and they had a great selection of local beers. It quickly became our favorite restaurant in Prague, especially considering the great value for money at £55 for 3 large main courses and 9 beers, tip included. The menu had a good variety of options ranging from Asian dishes to local pierogi-style dumplings and burgers. We would definitely return. It's advisable to make a reservation as it was quite busy, and they managed to squeeze us in last minute. They close at 9 pm, but I believe the last food orders are around 8:15 pm.
I recently dined at Pastva with my partner, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. First, let me praise the food; it was absolutely delicious. We had a mushroom pate for starters, followed by the soup of the day and stuffed pasties. The stuffed pasties were the highlight of our meal — savory, well-spiced, and satisfying. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent; you're getting wonderful vegetarian dishes without breaking the bank, which is always a plus. I can confidently say that we'll probably come back to try more of their offerings. That said, my experience was marred by a discrepancy about the kitchen's closing time. Upon arriving at 08:08 pm, we were informed that we had until 9 pm to place our orders. However, when we asked for extra bread at 20:43, we were told that the kitchen had already closed. It's a small issue, but important, especially since I enjoy having bread with pate. In summary, Pastva offers great food at a great price point and service, but their communication need some work. We plan on returning, but it would be ideal if the restaurant could be more transparent about kitchen timings to avoid any such inconveniences in the future.
Food is amazing. They have diffrent dishes every day and you can choose whatever suits you but it is always delicious. Soups are also tasty and super creamy and I never had one that was not good. Portions are quite big. Cakes are also perfect.
The atmosphère was nice and the staff friendly, the mushroom foi gras was very tasty along with the onion confit. The lasagna was also good and filling. The miso soup just a little bit too spicy for me!
