The double cheeseburger and shake was delicious! Unfortunately the fries were too salty for us, but everything else was great. I will be coming back to try something different! What Sandy Jones doesn't like about Mabel's:
We only had milkshakesalthough they were fantastic looking, there was absolutely no ice cream in the shake. It was very expensive and disappointing. Would have gotten a sundae but they were out of Chunky Monkey! Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.

Despite the heat, we decided to stay and order food. Unfortunately, the restaurant seemed unclean, and our table was sticky. Behind us, there was an unoccupied table piled with dirty dishes that hadn’t been cleared, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived. After some time, we ordered the adult craft burger and a child’s cheeseburger. They were just okay—not very flavorful and not what we expected for the price. The waitress then suggested we try their famous crafted milkshakes, so we decided to order two. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes for them, while the table that arrived after us received their shakes before we did. Again, the restaurant was not crowded when we came in, with only a couple of other tables occupied. When we questioned the waitress about the long wait, she apologized and explained they were backed up with orders. By the time the milkshakes arrived, we were already hot and ready to leave. While the shakes were alright, they definitely weren’t worth nearly $20 each. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but after spending $80 on two burgers and two milkshakes in a sweltering, unclean restaurant located in a strip mall, I left feeling thoroughly disappointed. I had looked forward to trying this place for so long, but I can't honestly recommend it.
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I came specifically for ice cream. My husband ordered the Banana Split, which at $13.49 was not worth the price. The menu mentioned strawberry topping, but it was missing from the sundae. Overall, it felt like just a standard banana split that was made to look bigger with an excessive amount of whipped cream. I opted for the Black Tie Affair, priced at $18.99, and it, too, was disappointing. The cake slice was so frozen that my flimsy plastic spoon couldn’t cut through it. Additionally, the menu promised raspberries, but there were none. When I inquired with our server, she didn’t know if they were out of stock and didn’t bother to check. Furthermore, after delivering our order, she didn’t return to see how we were doing or if we needed anything, including drinks. Overall, it was a thoroughly disappointing experience.

My family and I went to Mabel’s recently for the first time. It was a cute restaurant. Loved the atmosphere of the whole place. We were seated right away. Our server came right over to take our drink order. Our server was very attentive the whole time! The menu had a good variety of choices! From food to ice cream! We ordered an appetizer, the appetizer sampler. It was very good. It was enough for the 3 of us, and if we had our other son it still would have been enough. Then it was time to order our main meal and it was a tough decision but I settled on the Copenhagen burger with fries. It was delicious! I asked for lettuce and tomato on the side and it came with it. It wasn’t listed on the description. Mabel’s is known for their crazy shakes and ice cream, so I ordered the chocolate sundae, my husband ordered the peanut butter sundae, and my son ordered a traditional milkshake cookies n cream flavored. It was very good, but I thought for the size of the sundaes we ordered the price of $12.49 was pretty steep. Overall it was very good and I will be a return customer! Parking: We were able to park very close. Kid-friendliness: There were families that had kids dining at the same time and it was ok.
