This was our first time at the restaurant, and Ryan was our waiter—he took great care of us! We had been hesitant to visit due to some negative feedback we heard when they first opened, but those concerns turned out to be unfounded. Food was delicious and they did accommodate my daughter’s food allergies. When, however, I stated I did not like or want Brussel sprouts with my meal, they did not offer me anything else. So for the price of an entree, you got the meat with nothing else, you paid for bread. So, poor value View all feedback.

It seemed quiet for a Friday evening, but that could be it was the night before Christmas Eve. That isn't a complaint. Our server was knowledgeable and gracious and not intrusive. The food and cocktails were excellent.

If you're looking for great food and amazing drinks with a relaxing ambiance, this is the place. The food has always been a hit whether it's duck or beef and the new duck smash burger is an amazing twist on everyday burgers. The range of drinks that themixologists have is some of the best in Richmond.

The Shaved Duck is a great venue for group work presentations. We had a private event room that was isolated from the rest of the restaurant noise. The wine selection was excellent, and the food presentation and table settings were very appealing. Everything was also quite clean. I tried the chicken gnocchi and carrot cake, and both were fantastic. The gnocchi dish had a variety of textures that complemented each other nicely. I will definitely be back to this restaurant!
