Allen's Chinese Reataurant - POWHATAN

Without a doubt the best Chinese food ever. I tried them all in many states and nobody can compare them to Allens.

Great quality Chinese. This is a great place to go for Chinese. I saw the prices and almost fell by, but there's a reason for it and it's because you get a LOT. The chicken is actually chicken and you can say it is chicken and not your typical guess what meat this is Chinese place. The Sesame Chicken is sweet as it should be and the General Tso is actually spicy. Speaking of spicy, be careful if you have a sensitive stomach because the General Tso is spicy and caused the men to hurt stomach for several days.

Just the best. I haven't lived in Virginia for more than 5 years, and my wife and I still long for Allens. We drove all the way to Jiang's in Midlothian, and we saw the sign for Allen as it was in construction. We thought about how it would be a terrible place with a name like Allen. We were pressed one night after the opening and we went into and to our joy we recognized half of the people there of Jiang. Allen has many of our favorite restaurants in the city... Inside China, Jiangs and others I can't remember. The quality of the ingredients is what makes the food. The owners are wonderful people... Jan still recognizes us when we come back to the city and greets us with great hugs. It's always our first stop when we're back in Powhatan.

Love loves food. All employees are wonderful. I lived in the west, in the south, the fan and now live in Cartersville.... by far the best food from all restaurants in these areas.

Best chinese food ever...and I've eaten alot. I am telling you...if you are out in Powhatan or Chesterfield you HAVE to try this Restaurant. Their food is so fresh and well prepared. They give you enough so that you will have leftovers for lunch the next day. The price is very good for the amount of food you get. The wait staff are friendly and remember your orders when you come back. They even give you some chinese dounuts at the end of the meal. I cannot say enough good things about them. Highly recommend.
