We... read more We we’re picked up from our hotel and taken to this lovely restaurant. What a beautiful setting, restaurant was so authentic, and staff were very attentive. We ordered limpets, which we were told were 4 hours out of the sea!! They are now my favourite food in the whole world! Absolutely delicious. We then had ribs an turkey which were cooked to perfection. Our host recommended a brandy and s as local spirit that blew our heads off but everything was an amazing experience. Great value too,

We made this restaurant a t... read more We last visited here in 2016, and before that in 2015, but due to other issues we only managed to get back to Porto Santo this year. We made this restaurant a top priority to revisit. It’s very easy to say how great this place is, because it is. The family run restaurant is everything you want friendly staff, great food cooked on a wood fired BBQ in front of you, in a lovely setting. I’ve copied and pasted my last review below. The reason for that is because it says it all and is still relevant today. Don’t think about it go there now!
