O Calhetas - Porto Santo

Good value for money, quantity is good overall. Priceless view! Many just come for a coffee or beer. Support locals, skip the food on the ferry, over priced/dry and come eat lunch here.

Excellent grilled octopus. Large meal came with additionaly mixed salad, boiled potato and grilled vegetables. Octopus was delicious. Poncha very good too.

It doesn't deserve better than 2 stars... We came based on recommendation so we were expected something of quality. The service was not bad, but not good and very expeditive... Moreover, we ordered seafood pasta and we have been disappointed... it looked like frozen seefood cooked in a lot of water. It didnt taste good. I don't doubt that other plates can be good here but ut was not our case. Despite the very beautiful view, we have been disappointed by this place.

Fantastic feijoada de polvo (octopus with beans). Staff who asks you if you are satisfied, I really appreciate. Also the portions are generous and the price is quite ok. The view is also very nice and relaxing. I really recommend this place and if I come back to Porto Santo I will go there.

Lindo e delicioso restaurante em La Caleta no Porto Santo! Recomendo especialmente o peixe, as lapas estavam muito boas e o peixe-remo com banana e maracujá foi verdadeiramente espetacular, definitivamente o prato que recomendo! E uma vista espetacular da praia e do mar! O atendimento também foi excelente, o garçom que nos atendeu foi muito profissional e gentil! Bom valor ao dinheiro, absolutamente recomendado!
