What Nives Lazar doesn't like about Sandpiper:
Ate here some time ago. Overall food wasn't bar. The price is part for the course. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. The wait was bad. More than hungry by the time it made it for. Also it gets busy so go early or boom reservations during tourist season View all feedback. What Meredith S likes about Sandpiper:
Good sized portions, excellent service and well priced. We got there at 5:30 and it wasn't busy. By 6:00 it was hopping! Obviously very popular with cottagers nearby and rightly so. View all feedback.

If you are looking for standard issue fish and chips on highway 6, this is the place to go. Standard Canadian restaurant diner fair, done well.

Immaculate restaurant! Food was excellent Staff very friendly Home made and very tasty Lots of local people...very good sign :)

Sandpiper restaurant offers a mix of reviews, with some customers mentioning great food but slow service, while others have had disappointing experiences. The food seems to be hit or miss, with highlights like Fish and Chips, Lobster Rolls, and clam dishes. The atmosphere is cozy and family-friendly, with friendly staff and owners who have been serving the area for many years. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. It is recommended to go early, as the restaurant can get busy. Despite some mixed reviews, Sandpiper remains a popular choice for locals and tourists alike on the North Shore of Nova Scotia.
