Nelly's Grill & Dairy Bar - PUGWASH

My husband and I went for a drive to Pugwash last weekend and stopped in at Nelly's for lunch. We expected typical greasy diner fare, but Nelly's exceeded our expectations! My husband had the Inferno burger, I had the lobster roll. The food was very well made, with hand cut french fries, fresh local beef in the burger, and fresh caught lobster in the lobster roll. My husband was very happy with the level of spice on the burger (he ordered it well dressed), and I thought the lobster was cooked well, not rubbery or under seasoned. The prices were very reasonable, with the burger and fries coming in at less than $10 and the lobster roll with fries at less than $15. Would definitely recommend, and will visit again!

Just a nice little dive dinner, Fantastic food, great service in a basic diner setting. The lobster roll was great and wings fanatastic. Wonderful service but don't expect any fancy setting. Look forward visiting again.

Nelly's is a little spot just outside of Pugwash, don't be fooled by its stature. Food was top knotch. We shared a lobster roll and an order of scallops. Scallops were excellent, probably some of the best I've had on my 2 week trip to the Maritimes. Leave room for dessert, I make a pretty good carrot cake but Nellys put me to shame, so good.

Played golf at Northumberland golf course and were on our way to PEI when we spotted this little grill. Had a lobster roll and a bowl of freshly made seafood chowder. Both were very good. This little place is right on the local higway. It's clean and the service was welcoming and friendly. If your going by check it out they have a nice little menu.

Dropped into Nelly's today while taking my great nephew to camp. Over the last two weeks I had gone to two local restaurants In Parrsboro to get a Lobster Club ( or roll), Sadly both had no lobster. I am from the Valley and love the Lobster Club I get at Vicki's Seafood. So I asked the server if the cook could make me one. He checked and after a few more questions my lobster club was ordered. When it came he said " first lobster club" . It was absolutely delicious. The cook even came out to see if I was happy with it, which I certainly was. My sister-in law had a regular lobster roll, my niece had the scallops, my mother -in -law had the fish and chips. All were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and the service was fast and served hot!I HIGHLY recommend you give Nelly's a try.
