We were advised by a young man who came to meet us at the door that it was a members only club and that we could not eat there. All this was stated in a rather rude manner.

Sitting in their restuarant right by the water you have one of the best views in Poole. We had a fantastic meal 2 nights ago. A special mention for the belly pork with black pudding bon bons and black garlic mash! Couldn't quite manage a desert but the Calypso Coffees were wonderful. The service as ever was faultless. The staff are so friendly and basically are very good at their job. There is a wonderful relaxed atmosphere there too and they have a lovely bar if you just want a drink. We often pop in for coffee after walking the dog but will definitely be going back again soon for dinner.
