Older tal... read more We had booked ahead and when we arrived the person that greeted us and showed us to our table was friendly enough. But the waiter who served us, well! Older taller chap, whose eyes shone indignation, and his eyebrows fury. He slammed the cutlery down and snatched the menus after we had ordered and he scribbled down our choices with such force that I expect the order went through several layers. He came with the rose we had ordered (very pleasant btw and slammed the glasses down too. He proceeded to open the bottle with a cork screw and as much violence as he could muster. The corkscrew flew over the low wall and a nice chap on the pavement handed it back to him. Grabbing it from his hand, no acknowledgement or thank you was proffered. And so it continued. 5 minutes later he was all smiles and joviality with a nice Spanish family. I don’t know if our crime was that we were British or merely foreigners, but the whole episode was farcical and really very entertaining. The pizza was good and the goats cheese salad delicious. We plan to go back one day ;

There was no welcome or greeting from the rude waiter, a slightly older gentleman.... read more Despite booking a table for 3 adults, we were made to feel an inconvenience. There was no welcome or greeting from the rude waiter, a slightly older gentleman. The menu was plonked in front of us, and we felt rushed to order. Food came fairly quickly and was ok, nothing outstanding. The pizza was good, the two pasta dishes were average. That's as good as it got. We were ignored and sat with plates in front of us for a good 20 mins, we wanted to order another drink, but the waiter was too busy and was snappy and rude to people turning up. Eventually, we dared to ask for the bill that was plonked on the table without any reference to our meal or whether we required anything else. My bank card was snatched out of hand, and the receipt was issued. We were actually quite shocked and embarrassed, so we went back to our beautiful hotel for drinks and a dessert wishing we'd stayed there for our last night rather than pay for atrocious service.

Gluten free pizzas bonus and they were on a really great base and the same size as normal ones! The normal pizzas were delicious too : Some have commented on service, we thought the waiter to be charming if you made the effort to be nice, no difficult really! We were lucky to get a table when another place we tried was full and am so glad we did. Our girls had take away pizza one night which was equally great. Lovely Mallorcan wines. Go, you won't be disappointed.
