We were surprised to be seated in an area that had no ambiance on r view just looking at the kitchen although the bistro which was cheaper had lovely views over... read more We were surprised to be seated in an area that had no ambiance on r view just looking at the kitchen although the bistro which was cheaper had lovely views over the vineyard and country side.I may be old fashioned but I don’t particularly want to look at the kitchen for £280 having said that ,the food was interesting although novelle cuisine is now passé the staff were lovely efficient and knowledgeable If I went again I would choose the bistro
