Friendly staff and good service. Best food we had all holiday.

LIved in Puerto Pollensa fo 8 years, and have always visited Joker for drinks or lunch, but the last few months every time I go I am told I cannot sit anywhere,... read more LIved in Puerto Pollensa fo 8 years, and have always visited Joker for drinks or lunch, but the last few months every time I go I am told I cannot sit anywhere, I am told to move wherever I sit, today was the last time I visit, and I told the waiter I would not recommend this restaurant to any of my Villa clients, am sure if I had of been a couple the waiters would not try and move me, it doesn't matter wherever I sit, disgusting to be treated this way

I suspect due to the location the food was expensive, for the quality it was too expensive, I had the Chicken Kebab, 3 bits of chicken and a very small handful of fries for €20 is way too much, it was well cooked and the chicken was tender however... it had clearly been cooked on a grilled that has previously been used for seafood, I could taste prawns or some other fish, this is a very practice and could even be dangerous for somebody with an allergy.

It has consistently provided great food... read more We returned to La Galera overlooking the beach and the bay at Puerto Pollenca twice last week during a visit to Majorca. It has consistently provided great food and drinks at reasonable prices in a relaxing atmosphere. We have been visiting the restaurant for the past 27 years and have been served throughout that time by the same helpful staff. We had lunch twice during our latest visit, omelette salad and chips followed by almond tart with ice cream drinks and coffee. On the second visit we had grilled chicken with mushroom sauce, chips and salad and drinks. Seating both outside on the terrace and indoors is available.
