I don't understand the negative comments here. This is a local neighbourhood type bar, a little bit off the beaten track, but serves the best beer and tapas in PP IMHO. Best in class.
Once again, thanks TA as we wouldn't have found his place if it wasn't for you. The staff were lovely and the tapas delicious, we had: Chicken and ham croquettes (you could see and taste the chicken, a must) Small chorizo Patata bravas Spring rolls...(not v tapas but a favourite of the husbands) Meatballs (soft and delicious) Padron peppers (always a personal favourite) Just so you know, the location services on my phone showed it in a slightly different place, unfortunately I can't get to the screen capture photos when adding via a mobile, but read the road signs vs the location services on your phone. Enjoy

This restaurant is away from the waterfront but visible from the main road into town from the interior (on the right). It is not posh, just ordinary modern looking and is as much a bar with terrace as anything. Indeed it is very much a...locals drinking place and we were the only non-Spanish in there. We ate on the terrace which was fine and unaffected by the Spanish hilarity in the bar. Our welcome was warm and throughout our meal we were served with friendliness and smiles. They even helped us along with our fractured Spanish with great patience. The cooking was entirely Spanish and much geared towards tapas which seemed to be all freshly prepared, which cannot be said of many of the establishments in town. We chose one of their chef,s selection menus and had six different tapas, bread/olives/allioli, and a bottle of Rioja for Euro for two. The food was very good and satisfying and we struggled to eat it all. And the complimentary coffee liqueur with cream at the end just put the cap on it. Smashing place you should not miss it.
