Route 12 Taco - Plainfield

Come here almost everyday, great food for a GREAT PRICE. Ali and Heather are the best! best customer service around!

I’ve cooked better meals at home. The chicken taco was underseasoned, and the ground beef was excessively greasy. The rice and beans that accompanied the meal were quite bland and lacked any real flavor. If you’re on Route 12 and looking for a place to eat, I recommend continuing on your way.

I would not recommend spending your money here. The food didn’t meet expectations at all. The tacos seemed like they were seasoned with a pre-packaged mix, the taco shells felt store-bought, and the salsa tasted like it came straight from a jar.

For freshness and flavor of the food I give this place a full five stars... It is a wonderful taco spot in a fairly quiet corner of Connecticut! I wish this establishment spent a little effort on decor the waiting and supposedly dining area is fairly drab if not feeling downright deserted and completely underdone. all things considered I still give it a solid four stars but it would be even higher with a better place to eat in.
