I highly recommend stopping by this place if you’re interested in bourbon, mixed drinks, or just looking for a great lunch spot. I purchased a bottle of rye and bourbon, and my experience was fantastic. As someone who is new to the world of bourbon, I found the staff incredibly patient and helpful in answering all my questions. They offer a wide selection of bottles at standard prices for craft spirits. Even if you’r... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Wigle Whiskey Distillery:
The drinks were excellent. The food was mediocre, with the smoked salmon being the standout dish of the evening. The tagliatelle pasta was lacking in seasoning (it had the texture of leg meat rather than breast), and the pork sandwich was disappointing. However, the fries were the best option of the night. Fabulous and will absolutely go again! Food was delicious, tour was fun and more than typical bourbon/whiskey tour with history of the area, and staff was wonderful.
Distillery tour was awesome. Diane was a very informational tour guide. Whiskey tasting was superb ! Dinner bites were delicious. Purchased whiskey and bourbon to take home. Enjoyed tasting all the different varieties of whiskey/bourbon.
Salmon and my Manhattan were outstanding. First time dining at Wigle. Highly recommend.
Nice place. Easily accessible. Friendly staff. Beautiful graphic design on the whiskey bottles for sale. However, regarding the actual whiskey and bourbon, it’s very “young” tasting and needs to age longer. Leans more towards the taste of alcohol as opposed to influence from the barrels. I tried eight of the products. The tour tries very hard to indirectly associate itself with Wigle from the 1700s… When this is completely not the case at all. The place only opened a decade ago and has no historical significance. The whiskey itself is priced a bit high for the quality. Also, for a whiskey tasting tour, it’s a bit disappointing that of the four samples you have at the end of the tour… one Is a shot of rum and one is a shot of gin!!!
I LOVE Wigle!! I've bought bottled whiskey from the store and really like them, but this is first time I dine in here and I wish I have been here earlier! We went on a Sunday afternoon so it's only the brunch menu available. The choices are limited but everything we ordered were delicious. The Bottled Cocktail flight has a great value, $12 for 4 tastings, highly recommend! We also had the coffee cocktails as dessert(lol), Coffee First tastes like a hot Irish coffee, it's a lil too sweet for me but my friends liked it a lot; I think Yinzer Coffee is a must try, so special and yummy! Foodwise the fried pierogi came with sausage and sauerkraut, so good. The Heirloom tomato toast was refreshing. Croque Madame was amazing too, highly recommend!
