We'd spent... read more Ate here last night for a late dinner after an awful day. We were traveling through Pittsburgh on our way to Detroit for a funeral service from D.C. We'd spent all day at the airport in DC and sat through hours of delays until our flight was ultimately canceled. All buses and trains were booked, so driving was our only option. We were exhausted and stopped in PGH for a meal and to rest. Everyone at Whitfield was so friendly and just plain nice...the meal was also fantastic. I don't think they realized how much we really needed a nice ending to the day, but it was great.

How could anyone not like this place ? The atmosphere was so cool and the food SUPER ! I had an absolutely amazing dinner at Whitfield. At first glance, the steak seemed a bit pricey, but given the generous portion size and exceptional quality, it's definitely worth every penny. Be sure to bring a friend!
