A recent visit to this downtown restaurant left a lot to be desired. After our wedding reception, we met up with friends to celebrate, but were met with rude and nasty staff members. The service was poor, with some guests being scolded for minor infractions. With limited vegetarian options, the food was also disappointing, though some items like the apricot jam flatbread stood out. However, the creative and delicious dishes made up for some of the shortcomings. Despite a cozy atmosphere and festive decorations, the lack of attentiveness from the waitstaff was noticeable. While there were some positives, such as the brulé cream dessert, the overall experience left much to be desired. It's clear that improvements are needed to attract and retain customers at this restaurant.

Was Tracey at Sienna Mercato a mag?
This is my favorite restaurant in the city. I had the Angry Birds Bowl on the first floor and spent the rest of the evening at the rooftop bar. I highly recommend all 3 floors of the restaurant!!! View all feedback.
What Lynda dislikes about Sienna Mercato:
Went with friends and had a good night. Noise level is high. Wife and friend ordered Philly Cheese Steak bowls. Both enjoyed them. I had 2 spicy pork with Buffalo sauce. Excellent. Pizza was ordered by friends wife and did not come out until everyone else was almost finished with their meal. Bad timing! Fried pickles were a hit. Our waiter, Quinn was above and beyond. The restaurant was quiet and warm and cozy and festive with Christmas decorations. We came there to have dinner and see the fireworks, and finally we watched fireworks directly from the window, where we ate, which was perfect. The brulé cream was out of this world ????
Our first experience was a good one after the museum hours on Friday evening. High quality menu, professional service and live music made for a nice date. Now Muse only needs patrons! We had the space almost to ourselves. If it gets known, this could be a great downtown restaurant.
A unique dining experience in the Cultural District. Sienna Mercato is one destination with three separate dining options. The first floor is Emporio, the second is Mezzo, lastly there is a rooftop beer garden that serves light bites. We dined at Mezzoduring Restaurant Week. First, let me say I love the atmosphere and the interior design. We were seated beside the open windowsoverlooking the Cultural District and it was a perfect evening for pseudo-al fresco dining. The meal was excellent, finecrafted, modern Italian. We had the Italian Margarita which was strong, citrusy and refreshing. First course was salad. I hadthe Arugula salad which was bold and rich. Lots of strong flavor from the peppery arugula, the fresh shaved parmesan and theflavor burst from a pistachio vinaigrette. (Note: if you are not a pistachio fan do not get this ? Next up was our entrees. Myguest had the Shrimp Fra Diavolo which was spicy ???? but very tasty. I had the spaghetti which was perfectly cooked and tossedin a creamy alfredo with fresh basil and crispy pancetta. It was very good and very filling. We barely had room for dessert butit was Restaurant Week after all so of course we completed our meal on a sweet note. My guest had the refreshing panna cotta. Ihad the parmesan pound cake. Wow what an interesting dessert combination of savory parmesan cheese, savory fresh basil, a dollopof sweet cream and tart raspberry sauce. It was a lovely end to a perfect meal.
This place is REALLY COOL! Been here a few times now and definitely would recommend! The upstairs outdoor patio is amazing. Good selection of beers and other drink options. The staff behind the bar upstairs is a little...ummmm...odd sometimes, butmostly gets the job done. Had to wait a little longer than normal a few times to look around and take our order. All thingsconsidered...a great place to spend some time with a cool vibe!
