Sienna Mercato - Pittsburgh
Sienna Mercato
Description
A recent visit to this downtown restaurant left a lot to be desired. After our wedding reception, we met up with friends to celebrate, but were met with rude and nasty staff members. The service was poor, with some guests being scolded for minor infractions. With limited vegetarian options, the food was also disappointing, though some items like the apricot jam flatbread stood out. However, the creative and delicious dishes made up for some of the shortcomings. Despite a cozy atmosphere and festive decorations, the lack of attentiveness from the waitstaff was noticeable. While there were some positives, such as the brulé cream dessert, the overall experience left much to be desired. It's clear that improvements are needed to attract and retain customers at this restaurant.

The restaurant was quiet and warm and cozy and festive with Christmas decorations. We came there to have dinner and see the fireworks, and finally we watched fireworks directly from the window, where we ate, which was perfect. The brulé cream was out of this world ????
Our first experience was a good one after the museum hours on Friday evening. High quality menu, professional service and live music made for a nice date. Now Muse only needs patrons! We had the space almost to ourselves. If it gets known, this could be a great downtown restaurant.
The food was so delicious. They have such great appetizers the risotto was delicious. The service was definitely slow. We were celebrating my Birthday I had heard they brought a Mimosa out to celebrate, but all the Host said was Happy birthday when wearrived.
The atmosphere makes up for the quality of food. It 's on par with a TGIF. There is a very limited selection of scotch/whisky. The server we had was very polite but a little bit slow. Dinner took about a 1/2 hour longer than it should have. Over all Iwould definitely go back but not order the same dish. I had the Bolognese (photo below).
