I had a wonderful experience at Grant Street Bar for dinner. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. I ordered the pork chop dinner with carrots, red potatoes, salad, dessert, and coffee. The portions were large and the flavors were just right. I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this restaurant to others. They did a great job! View all feedback.
This place has been here for a long time. We stopped by recently for a late lunch. We tried a couple appetizers and ordered a steak salad and soup to go. The zucchini and fries were good. The service was friendly. The salad was delicious along with the tortellini soup. They are known for their pies which I will try next time.
One of Pittsburgh's not-so-hidden treasures. Terrific onion rings, fish sandwiches, etc. Oh and if you go there and don't try the coconut cream pie.. shame on you.
This place is a little pricey...The Seafood sampler is always delicious and the staff are very personable!
This is still the best place for fried shrimp. I used to eat here frequently when I was a kid growing up in Pittsburgh in the 70s. I always ordered the fried shrimp and onion rings and enjoyed playing on the vintage pinball machines. I visited last year and was delighted to find that the shrimp and onion rings were just as delicious as I remembered. The prices were higher, but I can afford it now that I have a better job. I definitely plan on returning the next time I am in town.
I've been going to Grant Bar since I was a kid. Hands down by far the best fried shrimp I've ever had. The mainated steak is excellent!!!! The bad thing is that the prices have gone up substantially since the flood. Prices are now ridiculous!!!! I won't go again.
