I highly recommend this venue for any event! We held my bridal shower here, and it was simply perfect. The staff truly went above and beyond, and Trevor was fantastic!
Wonderful food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere! Our server, Margo, was incredibly friendly and efficient. I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my boyfriend had the chicken and waffles, and both dishes were fantastic. I highly recommend Revel, and we will definitely be returning!
We spent the evening at the attached Hilton Garden and decided to try the Revel for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. We both had what was equivalent to a Breakfast Smile. Price was $14x2. Both the potato chunks and two slices of bacon were deep fried. I would give a zero on the presentation, although it was edible. We had higher expectations for a restaurant attached to a Hilton, even when having a basic breakfast.
We arrived for our reservation and were told the table wasn’t yet ready. As we waited for about a half hour we noticed it was because the table we were waiting for was still covered in dirty dishes and waiting a long time for their credit cards to be taken. If you know you have another party coming in, you should be taking care of turning that table over. The hostess finally had to take care of their payment and clean the table. The only other person we saw was a busser, I believe, who was clearing the table a couple glasses at a time with no tray. When we finally sat down, we waited at least a half hour with not one acknowledgment from any server or employee. We finally got up and left. A manager was nowhere to be found. As we walked back to our hotel to try to find a place to eat for our large party at 9:30pm, the manager called and asked us to come back and she would ensure we were well taken care of. We declined. You can tell when a restaurant is either poorly staffed or poorly run and this appeared to be both. The only person who was working hard to take care of customers was the hostess who was very apologetic. I do not recommend this place when there are so many other good restaurants in the city.
Not sure what happened but what a change from a year ago. The menu is very limited and way to trendy and expensive. The manager on duty, a young women just stood sipping her drink at the end of the bar chatting with the kitchen staff as the bartender, Jeremy *who was great) struggled to keep up with his tickets. His bar was full plus he had to fill the drinks for the tables. I heard him ask for some assistance and the Mgr walked way never to reappear. There was t any control at the door and a large group from a wedding just flooded the place. I felt bad for the staff and appalled by the lack of mgmt .
