My family and I used to have dinner there at least once a week since my fiancé and I both work and live nearby. The staff received no prior notice about the closure, which meant that we, the customers, were caught off guard too. We only found out through a friend who happened to get lunch there on the last day. Yes, the building was old and it wasn't an eat-in establishment anymore, but it’s still disheartening for loyal customers like us. The employees had been there for years, knew us and our usual orders, and there was a real sense of community. We've heard that the building will likely be demolished to make way for yet another strip mall, which is disappointing. Shame on you, Peppi's.
