The sp... read more The hefeweizen and dunkel beers were good. The bratwurst was excellent, but the schnitzel was terrible; it definitely shouldn’t be deep-fried in old oil. The spaetzle was mediocre, and the bier cheese mixed with it was just okay. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy when we arrived, it took about 15 minutes for the lone waitress—or management, I’m not sure who—to acknowledge us, even though she was sitting at the table right behind us. Our order took around 20 minutes to arrive, so I’m glad we ordered food along with our beer. By the time we left, the place was packed with a mix of regulars and a couple of tour groups. I felt lucky we weren’t part of the group of eight that was just arriving.
