They are a wealth of knowl... read more I have been shopping at Make A Cake for 20+ years. It 's my own personal Cheers , where they know my (and even my children 's) names. They are a wealth of knowledge and can help even the most seasoned pastry professional with any questions. The stock in the store is vast. Family owned operated. I highly recommend Make A Cake for your specialty cake/pastry needs!

I called ahead to ask if they could wait a few extra... read more I drove an hour to reach the restaurant, knowing that I would arrive just before their closing time of 3pm. I called ahead to ask if they could wait a few extra minutes for me, but no one answered the phone and I had to leave a voicemail. When I arrived promptly at 3pm, the staff refused to open the door for me even though I assured them I knew what I wanted to order and had my credit card ready. They insisted that I come back when they reopen in two days. I was extremely disappointed by their lack of customer service and have no intention of returning to this restaurant in the future.
