The food at this restaurant was incredible! We decided to check it out while in Pittsburgh and it was nearly as good as my favorite spot in my hometown. The ingredients were fresh and the staff were friendly and well-informed about different dietary requirements. This restaurant is also Celiac friendly. View all feedback.
What Ulyana K doesn't like about Kahuna Poke and Juice Bar:
Known for its poke and juice offerings, Kahuna is a popular spot. I decided to try one of their famous juices and opted for the tropical tang smoothie. Although on the pricier side at $7, I wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, the smoothie was just okay. The overwhelming banana flavor overshadowed any other fruits, like mango or pineapple, and the addition of bee pollen created an odd texture. Ove... View all feedback.

The overwhelming banana flavor overshadowed any other fruits, like mango or pineapple, and the addition of bee pollen created an odd texture. Overall, I found it to be a bit overpriced and lacking in flavor. While I may not be back for the juices, I'm intrigued to try their poke bowls. Kahuna also offers vegetarian options like tofu and salads, as well as plenty of healthy choices for those with dietary restrictions looking to follow a paleo or keto diet.
Besides the food being so delicious that I am willing to drive the hour that it takes to get there from my house, the service is awesome! The workers are so nice and patient with you, and one went out of their way to accommodate a food allergy I have. By far my fav place!!Food: 5/5
Too much sauce, ugh. I’d had problems in the past with them putting too much sauce on my bowl so that the bottom was so salty I’d have to waste a bunch of the rice. Somehow I managed to get a couple good bowls with an appropriate amount of sauce but my latest order was drowning in what seemed like just chili sesame oil. My husband’s was the same. We’d both ordered “kahuna sauce” which I didn’t think was supposed to be pure oil… Anyway, the ingredients here are pretty fresh but it’s hard to get something edible made from them.
Trashy. the workers are horrible ass people and they're rude with their service for no reasonthe fish eggs taste like cxm!!!!!!!!!!
Made my own bowl with my favorite toppings. Great flavors in the sauce, and tuna and other ingredients were fresh. I have to say the food is great value to the price. However, I do with the base was a little more. Whether its rice or zucchini noodles (I chose zucchini noodles) I was there was more to balance out the abundance of sauce. Next time I would get the white rice, which I think will go well with the ponzu sauce.Otherwise, I would come back again for some more.
