Glad that we finally got to try out the place for a fun date night but unsure if we'll return in the future.

The service is top notch, bar none, it's as though you are the most important table in the joint. The menu selection is perfect and the servings are proper for satiation. The food.....oh the food....everything that I've tried has offered this unique balance that spans the palette, simply calling it delicious doesn't do it justice, but I'm no word smith so use your imagination. I not only want to applaud the chefs, but also say f**k all of you for setting the bar so high and leaving me in a perpetual state of reminiscence as I visit other restaurants who can't deliver the flavor I'd akin to mercenaries of the taste buds. We will definitely return for the beautiful yet unpretentious atmosphere, incredible cuisine, creative cocktails, and superb service. We had a date night dinner during a trip for holiday Steeler game had the best time. The simple menu offerings were well thought out. The roasted carrots over whipped ricotta cheese and honey was amazing! I had salmon perfectly cooked my husband enjoyed lamb ragu. The portions were good and we appreciated that they were not massive amounts of. No seasoning was over done- the whole restaurant has precision perfection without taking itself too seriously... very authentic. Shout out to our server, Liz and bartender Noah. If you are trying to find a great restaurant for yourself or a group, go to Fig Ash!

The cocktails have very f... read more This restaurant was AMAZING! Came to Pittsburgh for a game with no idea where to eat for dinner, and we are so happy we ended up here. The cocktails have very funny/cute names and the food…….WOW. We got 2 small plates for apps and large plates for ourmain course. They portions were HUGE, and so delicious. The staff was great, alexi and Corey being the stars of the night. Ifyou have been considering coming to this place, you should go. I’m currently still full from dinner last night!!

One small thing is that the dining space felt a bit compact, and was not exactly quiet due to how busy the restaurant was. We had a hard timehearing each other from across the table. However, aside from that, we had an excellent time, and our server was extremelyfriendly and helpful. We would definitely want to visit again!
