Was Kristy A at Dancing Gnome a mag?
The venue is lovely, featuring a charming outdoor area. The staff was friendly, and the establishment was clean. Since I can't have carbonated drinks, breweries usually aren't ideal for me. However, they did offer one non-carbonated choice—a vodka cocktail in a can. While it may not seem like much, it’s a welcome option when most places don't offer anything at all. What Mary Kay dislikes about Dancing Gnome:
The beer is great, but the place is too crowded and uncomfortable for my liking. There are better options in Pittsburgh where I can enjoy equally fantastic beer while being more at ease. View all feedback.

The brewery is wheelchair accessible, but parking can be a bit tricky. There's a small lot behind the building that fills up quickly, and while there are a few metered spots on the street, they can be hard to come by. If you're visiting with a wheelchair, it's wise to arrive early to secure a close parking spot. We went around 4 PM on a Thursday and were fortunate enough to find a handicapped space right next to the brewery. Inside, the taproom is spacious, featuring a large bar and plenty of seating options. There’s also a cozy outdoor patio, perfect for enjoying a beer on a nice day. However, the staff seemed a bit aloof—something I hadn't experienced at a brewery before. Was it due to the wheelchair in the Steel City atmosphere? I tried the Double Lustra, a Double IPA brewed with Citra and Amarillo hops, boasting an ABV of 8.5%. The flavor profile is a lovely, dank citrus mix with hints of tangerine, grapefruit, and pine. It has a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and a long, satisfying finish. As a limited release, it lived up to its reputation as a well-crafted beer that embodies the essence of tasty DIPAs. Overall, Dancing Gnome is a fantastic spot for craft beer lovers in Pittsburgh, but do be prepared for some parking challenges—especially if you're in a wheelchair. Fortunately, I didn’t face any difficulties getting in from where we parked.

I deducted one star for the limited parking and the fact that nearly all the seating was backless, which is one of my personal pet peeves.

Fantastic atmosphere and excellent beer! The outdoor area is spacious, featuring numerous picnic tables and heaters, while the indoor section boasts high-top tables. Their beer selection is diverse and well-crafted. While they may not offer sours or particularly unusual flavors, they excel in making classic beers. I tried the Eternal Quest and Not Quite Present, and both were incredibly smooth, not overly hoppy, and quite refreshing. They serve their beer in charming Dancing Gnome glasses, which are available for purchase along with other merchandise inside. If you're feeling hungry, there are two food trucks outside serving delicious options throughout the night. During my visit, a wood-fired pizza truck and a taco stand were on-site, and the pizza smelled amazing—my friends raved about how tasty it was. The brewery also has its own parking lot, which is very convenient given the bustling location. Prices are quite reasonable for the beer, and they even offer half pints for those who want to sample a few different flavors or take it easy. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a fun time with friends!

The draft selection is always evolving, and any IPA on the menu is sure to please. They focus exclusively on New England-style IPAs, and they really excel at it.

I wasn't a fan at first, but now I really am! The atmosphere is amazing, and they have a wonderful selection of beers to choose from!
