Atarashi
3.5 / 5 (203 reviews)

Description

Atarashi offers a diverse menu that intrigues with its sushi and poké bowls, alongside a fast-casual dining concept similar to a burrito bar. While many patrons rave about the fresh ingredients and attentive service, some have expressed disappointment over specific dishes, such as the grilled chicken bowl, where quality doesn’t always match expectation. The vibrant atmosphere adds to the appeal, though young diners may struggle with certain flavors. Overall, Atarashi garners positive feedback for its innovative approach, albeit with room for improvement in consistency and some menu items. A visit is recommended for sushi enthusiasts.

Go here all the time with my partner, who goes to Pitt. I'm vegetarian but there are are still some really good options. I love it!!

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. The service was fantastic and it was my first time trying a poke bowl, which I really enjoyed. The atmosphere was incredible and I definitely plan on coming back before I leave to go back home to Mississippi. I wish we had a restaurant like this back in my hometown.

This American sushi restaurant is quite good for a fast meal. It exceeded my expectations, but the white rice that came as a side dish was heavily soaked in rice vinegar, making it difficult for my children to enjoy their meal. The kid-friendly options include sides with sushi rice, which may be too sour for some kids to enjoy. Mine definitely didn't like it.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a fantastic experience! The staff were very friendly and the food was incredibly fresh. I will definitely make a special trip back to town just to eat here again. I customized my own poké bowl with super fresh fish and it was of great quality. I would rate the food 5 out of 5.

I would always come here even before it turned into Atarashi. They now discontinued chicken tempura and only carry grilled chicken. Even tho I would always have to wait for chicken tempura, it was always my go to and it was nice knowing it was fresh. Long time customer no more.Food: 1/5
