Absolutely brilliant Eastern European cuisine! I'm very grateful to have experienced dishes that remind me of my own upbringing with a blend of Eastern European heritage, all while being completely vegan. I'm consistently amazed by the flavors. Even the simplest salads are packed with taste. You can really feel the passion and care put into each dish, and it truly shines through. This is definitely my favorite restaurant! Please keep up the extraordinary work you're all doing over there!
Did you eat a flower today? At this restaurant, you can! They offer a delicious sunflower dish, along with vegan pierogis and dumplings. The staff was very helpful, and they accommodate all kinds of food sensitivities. I can't wait to go back! Be sure to arrive right when they open, as the tables fill up quickly.
The restaurant offers authentic vegan cuisine with so many delicious options that it's hard to choose just one! It's evident they haven't lost their touch since the previous review on July 20, 2022.
The ordering system here is quite unique, but it definitely works well. The building itself is really impressive, and I especially loved the vibrant back room. Having grown up eating traditional Eastern European cuisine, I was amazed by Apteka's creative interpretation of classic Polish and Eastern European dishes, especially since everything is vegan. They've truly mastered the flavors and richness of each dish; it's absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend it—10/10!
Absolutely delightful! I was looking forward to trying this restaurant based on the reviews and their enticing menu, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. It's difficult to describe the incredible flavors they achieve in their dishes. The server was warm and welcoming, the food was exceptional, and my drink was fantastic. This restaurant has definitely climbed to the top of our must-visit list whenever we're in Pittsburgh.
